Alternatives to blinker switch?
on:
17 May, 2022, 01:35:50 PM
Hi guys,
About 3 weeks ago bought my CBF1000A 2006. I really enjoy it, but seems like my left hand doesn't fit :) Okay, honking by accident 10 times a day is not that bad, I can deal with it, but blinker switch is really annoying. I always keep 2 fingers on clutch, and I believe having buttons like on Harley would be better. Does anybody know good alternatives to stock blinker switch?

You will still hit the wrong button if the levers and switches are not rotated and set up to suit your riding posture.
Rotate the clutch and brake levers so that when your hands rest on the handlebars and your fingers rest on top of the levers your arm forms a straight line from your shoulder to your finger tips. Once the levers are in the right position you can then rotate the switch gear so that your left thumb falls naturally on the indicator lights slider and your right thumb falls naturally on the hazard lights slider.

Thanks so much Art. I thought it's not about where the slider is, but more about it's a slider, not a button. I'll try to turn it a little.
