I know it's unlikely, but does the discount on Powerbronze parts still apply. I'm looking at buying a rear hugger and thought I'd ask before parting with £££. Cheers and Seasons greetings to all :152:

If it helps, I contacted Powerbronze when I bought my CBF in 2016. They told me that the discount had ceased, but they kindly allowed it anyway. I bought a front fender extension at the same time as well, which I do with all my bikes, as standard mudguards are always fashionably too short. I was very pleased with them. I just glued the extender on, it keeps most of the cr*p off the exhaust downpipes, and keeps the radiator clean.
Incidentally, the salesman were very helpful, my bike is black, and I was unsure whether to have a matt black hugger or gloss. The guy asked if I was having fairing lowers, which at that time were on order for me by the Honda dealer. He recommended the matt black, as Powerbronze made the fairing lowers for Honda and they would match, and match the matt black plastic beneath the tank and seat. That was good advice as the whole bottom half of the bike matches.

The magic get yourself a discount telephone conversation...

Buyer "Good morning, I was wondering if you still offered CBF1000 forum members a discount?"
Seller "I'm sorry that offer has expired"
Buyer "Shame, I was interested in your 'superbitmod' but it's beyond my budget, a 10% discount would have made so much difference" (pause in silence for a reply)
Seller "Just a moment I'll have a word with my manager... Yes Sir, we can do that... I'm sorry Sir the offer has expired but my manager has offered a 5% discount/free postage as a measure of good will"

I love to haggle and can't ever recall failing to get a discount or something extra just for the asking.
