Title: Brake pads
Post by: Sean o caoimh on 17 May, 2020, 01:45:09 PM
Hi all, just put new pads  and changed the fluid on the bike,
Took it for a test ride and I can hear the pads rubbing!
Is this normal? will it settle in after a few klm?
                                             Thanks

Hello, yes that's perfectly normal, your discs will have tiny ridges in them but the new pads will be perfectly flat, takes a little while for the flat surface to align with the ridges and once that's all sorted you will be noise free 👍

Hi,Sean.Worth checking that wheels are spinning freely & that discs are not unduly hot once you return from a ride!.Ed.
