It is with great pleasure I announce my arrival, Been riding for about 7 years, 5 on larger bikes and owned a 2006 CBF1000 since 11/12/19.

I live in Plymouth, Devon, England, UK, Earth, 3rd rock from Sol, Milky Way..... second left from Pegasus. frequent flyer at Jaspers.

Ridden in almost every condition English weather can offer including Snow and ice and can tell you I needed new underwear that day.... but I'd do it again.

Not done any out of country touring yet but certainly something I'm up or at some point.

Now for the final bit I know I'll be getting some heat for.... I purchased my beautiful Honda on 11/12/19..... I then proceeded to crash it on 30/12/19.... I know  :172:

Currently in the process of sourcing parts to repair, mostly cosmetic. I'm sure you'll all be happy to hear my ugly mug is in perfect working order.

So yea, that's me, the numpty that got a nice new(ish) bike and then trashed it in less than 3 weeks. look forwards to chatting, meeting and exchanging stories and route's with you all  :158:

I bought a new Biffer in May 2016. A week later I was at an awkward T junction  with a steep slope left to right and up and down. I stopped at the line ,put  my right foot down and slipped on some gravel and the bike slowly went over.. Scratched the top box and fairing panels . I was SO annoyed.

Moayling, thanks mate, yea I'm on the hunt for parts however any advice on where to get some new cowlings would be appreciated.

Kentcolin, that sounds like a horrible enough junction to be at without the gravel, I'm assuming everything was allright after though 😊

Bogal298, thanks for sympathizing,  the junction is 400 yards from my house and I thought I'd got the hang of it. Scratches were repaired nicely.

Welcome.

You are on the doorstep of Spain! Down to the ferry port, couple of beers on the overnight ferry, then ‘probably’ some of the best empty roads in Europe!

Bike breaker websites and ‘The Bay’ for your parts.

Hi Phil's, yes, I've popped over to Roscoff before on foot and that was a good laugh. Definitely up for heading to Spain then going round, south of France and Italy. Always wanted to take a bike round Lake Como and try to camp out near the Alps.
