On Two Wheels / Re: New Honda NT1100

It may be OK if it has a  seat that slopes a bit at the sides but the pillion is fashionably a lot higher than the riders seat. The new Suzuki S1000GT seems to bea bit  more like our Biffas to  me but the pillion seat again !! . I don't think my 5ft 3in wife would be able to get on it.

Looks like the standard seat height is 820mm

Suspension, Forks, Steering, and Chassis Set-up / Re: handle bars

Same question from me - just bought a 2007 CBF1000 and the OE chrome bars are rusty - I don't like chrome either.
What are the recommendations please ?  I would also like a bit wider bars than OE.
Thanks
John

Andy you should be able to get it repaired, I used an old Bandit for my winter bike and they were bad for rusting at the bottom of the down pipes which I got a good repair on.

See Attached.

Been to see an exhaust specialist today, booked in for repair next Wednesday, just got to take the downpipes off .
