My 2006 has 35k on the clock and is as sweet as can be.I have a friend (who recommended the cbf100 to me) he is a courier his cbf1000 on a 2006 plate has 87k on the clock and is as good as the day he bought it according to him

@ Spartan  ......  Smashed my first biffer ... so this is just repairing the damage done ..... got a new shoulder 2 weeks ago .... so off the bike for at least 4 months now ...... its gonna be a long 4 months ..

mines just a baby - 10k trouble free miles since new in Feb.

nbells - sorry to hear that. I smashed my shoulder up nearly 3 years ago (coming off a bicycle at c30mph  ) then spent 3 months in unimaginable pain with an undiagnosed dislocated shoulder.

Got it rebuilt with Titanium enhancements and it is nearly as good as new now - only had about 50% use until I started swimming/ excercising it in the pool and that made a massive improvement. Good luck with it.

nearly 11K since I got her new in June 08 - original tyres lasted 10.5K, think Im doing something wrong    - other half has just got a vfr and so was looking round to see what else I like and  found .......... NOTHING ......... love my biffer

Big gap in this post. I bought a 2011 mk2 CBF-F in 2018. Had 39,000km when bought. Now has 79,000km 😃
I will be riding this well into the next century of km's.

We're all interested in wall mileage for the CBF 1000. Having read this thread and the two threads linked by Bifferman I'm disappointed in what some think or pass off as high mileage. Has nobody, apart from the courier we all know and love, got a CBF 1000 with more than 60,000 miles (96,000 Km) on the clock?

I see three on Autotrader Bikes at 51,000, 55,000 and 58,000 miles and a 53,000 and 60,000 miler on Fleabay. Which is not great news because mine will hit that wall inside of the next 12 months.

Have all the real high mileage (60,000+ miles, 96,000 Km) CBF 1000's gone to the knackers yard?
