For those with a Honda top box, I presume everybody knows that the carrier is designed to store a wide range of different 'U' locks? :mfrlol:

Come on Ken, spill the beans please.
i.e., specific details (make & model) of non-'Honda' "U-Lock" that will fit?

My Magnum  'U' lock is black, with half of the rectangular box base covered in a grey plastic cap. It has no other markings and I've posted its dimensions already.

Robo, I've only had it.... now let me think..... Biffer, + two Deauvilles, so that makes it only 11 years old. :038:

From the item description....
"With an internal size of 95mm x 225mm
Honda Part numbered... 08M53-KFT-800
Designed to fit under the seat of a lot of Honda models
."

Do you think that one will fit in the Top Box carrier plate?

Clicky this and see , why would you want a U lock fixed under your rack held in place with a rubber strap ?

Surely if you want a u lock you would have it tucked away under the seat or just buy a disc lock

That doesn't help answer the question because dimensions are not given.

I have the larger size* 'Honda' U-Lock, which is stored under the rack and it's held in place all by itself (being locked) and does not rely on the rubber strap, which is just as well because mine got 'lost', before I got my U-Lock.
I have other things (including a disc lock) stored, not leaving enough space for a U=Lock, under the pillion seat.

*U-lock 120/340
- inner height 340mm, inner width 120mm, leg diameter 18mm.

My point is that the Honda U lock fits all Honda's. as for the rack what make is it, not Honda ?

Cant see why you would store the lock on the rack if the Honda one fits under the seat.

I must be missing your point  :028:

My rack (Honda top box mounting/attachment plate) is the Honda one, like this....

Yeh, maybe you are missing my point, which as I said, is that I store other things under the pillion seat.
 :028:

The real point is that there are different sizes of Honda branded U-Lock, but it seems that the  same Honda Part number is being used by some sellers, irrespective of the size.
