Praise Garmin Customer Service
« on: 29 August, 2008, 04:33:02 PM »
I just telephoned Garmin, to order a new security screwdriver, and the two little screws that hold the cable to the mount - I had lost these. Called Garmin ( a free phone number) and was told they would be put in the post within 2 days, and there was no charge. I know they are small items, but makes a nice change not being ripped off by a company!   :495:

My Mpa source cd was corrupted and they sent me a copy free of charge as well.

Garmin get my vote. I found them extremely helpful when my Zumo mount stopped working. No arguments or hassle, sent it in and they sent me a new one back.

I know it was their responsibility to sort out but it's just nice not to have any hassle.
