    Hiya,
Any ideas how I can stop the annoying noise coming from the chain rubbing on the chain slider plate on top of the swinging arm?
( never come across one before)

    Thank you  😊

Assuming the chain slider is fitted correctly and you're not mistaking the noise for grime inside the front sprocket cover, adjust the drive chain.

    Hi
Thanks for that,  have checked inside sprocket cover, do the sliders wear out quite regular?
Was thinking it might have worn through ?

Thinking? While you were checking inside the front sprocket cover you should have checked the slider :169:

Checking the drive chain slider is part of the 8,000 mile service, if it is worn down to the wear indicator, replace it. If you’re allowed spanners and you haven't already, you may want to download the Honda Workshop and Owners Manuals here, section '4 MAINTENANCE, page 25' should be an interesting read.
