    Front Mudguard Fixings

It seems like my Mk2 has never had any of its fixing touched since it was first built 12 years ago. I have been trying to remove the front mudguard ('fender' if you're a yank) in order to attach a fender extender. The allen head dome fixings forward of the forks came out with a bit of teasing, but the smaller 8mm bolt head fixings to the rear of the forks (which mount the brake lines block as well) are stuck. I managed to get one to move but the threaded tab on the inside of the mudguard is now moving with the bolt. I am interested to know if anyone has images of the inside of the mudguard so I can see exactly what I'm dealing with? I was hoping to do this without removing the front wheel. I am a bit worried I may have snapped some plastic off the inside of the mudguard

The SC64 mudguard fixings are the same as the SC58, searching this forum for "front mudguard" would have found you this posting I did earlier in case it would help someone  :016:
