Loose grip.

Hi all,
My clutch side handlebar grip started to work loose a few months ago so I removed it and re-installed using a coating of hair spray which appeared to be a popular fix. This worked OK but grip has started to work a bit loose again.
I'd be interested if anyone has an alternative method that's hopefully a bit more permanent.

Hi I once had this issue with an old bike of mine and the only cure was a new pair of grips sorry not much of a solution I know

Handlebar grips need a proper bond and there's no need for any reassuringly expensive glues such as Renthal's quick bond or Gorilla's monkey glue to achieve that. The trick is obvious and that is to clean both surfaces and, to be sure, to be sure, rough up the handlebar a little to give a good key to bond to. Then it's down to what you whatever you have to hand, apart from hairpsray, virtually any cheap as chips super glue will do, my weapon of choice would be a RTV silicone.
