uploading images / photos

Is there an IDIOT guide as to how to upload images etc
cos i like many others are a numpty with techknology
just a simple
press a then press b then press c

In the 'New Topic' or 'Reply box' click the 'click here to upload images' text, then in the 'Attach a file to your post section click 'choose file' and select the file/picture you want to upload. To upload more files/pictures click on the 'more attachments text'

tried that Art it just tells me the image is TOO BIG

Open the image in MS Picture Manager or whatever software and reduce the size, I think it needs to be less than 1MB
