I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. While riding yesterday I thought the bike sounded a bit louder than normal, I was late home (& wet) so straight in the garage. This morning I've found out why, see pic, the left hand exit from the collector has broken away. So even though its an SC58 model she's trying to look like an SC64 !
Have others tried a repair on this, how did you do it, was it successful ? As they're are getting rarer than an honest politician, a repair may be my only route.

Seen that a few times if you cant find a replacement used part off eBay or a breaker search your local area for an exhaust repair workshop, it doesn't have to be a motorcycle specific workshop either.

Already underway Art, a brief look online earlier pretty much sealed my fate, a repair is looking likely. I do know of a place in Nuneaton called Custom Chrome that do make one offs, and work for OEMs, a few years back they did a similar sort of repair to a V6 twin silencer set up on a car I had at the time.
