    Totes Waterproof Overboots

Does anyone use these, they resemble a thin welly boot you pull over your riding boots? They are obviously going to be waterproof but how easy are they to pull on and off? I have tried various different types which vary from OK to dangerous because they get caught on the pegs. Putting them on inside sitting on a chair is one thing, outside with rain coming down is another. Incidentally all the riding boots I have had have been sold as waterproof, most are for a short time but none of them has been waterproof for any length of time.

I was gifted a pair of tote over boots and found them to be totally useless, couldn't get them to fit over a UK size 8 motorcycle boot.

My current weapon of choice for a cheap pair of waterproof motorcycle boots is the JTS Tourmax Wide-Fit Waterproof Motorcycle Boots currently £89.99. They are waterproof straight out of the box but will, just like other leather/PU boots, require a goodly boot polishing from time to time. I've had them for 2 years now and they've seen plenty of service in the rain and I can't fault them. They're wide fit too.

Another solution maybe Sealskinz socks, I've never tried their socks but do have a pair of Sealskinz gloves which are 100% waterproof and breathable.

Thanks Art, you have confirmed what I suspected that getting them over the boots may be a problem.
