    Hi there
Thresholds are not enough - the year of first registration also comes into account - Jan '17 fir Crit'air 1
But no worries, you'll be fine with Crit'Air 2!
Let me know if you're struggling to complete the process with that in mind.
    Cheers

    Update after a few mods...
I am yet to connect the front projectors that I've attached to the rearview mirrors extensions - so still WIP.

    Hi everyone
    Update on my bike changes.

    - Changed the LED mounted on the dash and coming from my TG alarm as its pins had broken.  I think it'salso what took off the 10A fuse for the meters... As for my specific case the voltage fueling that LED doesn't seem to go beyond 2 or maybe 3V (hard to measure as it's only a short blip). Thought I'd share this info,  should anyone be interested. I unsoldered a red diode from a discarded device and it does the job.

    - Replaced the handlebar-mounted hand guards with the fixed knuckle windshields from Powerbronze.
    PICs below.
Quite happy with the end result and a few notes:
    - shots angle on pic 3 is such that the shields seem to not be wide enough to protect the hands. Yes they are - see pic 1 for a different viewpoint
    - these are plexiglass foils shaped under heat. So there never is any sharp bend and they won't hug close to the fairings. This may feel odd when installing but eventually I'm okay with the outcome.
    - remember to figure out beforehand what you will want to do with any accessories fixed on the side panels (talking about the parts just under the rider's hands basically), and advancing towards the sides of the instrument panel. Everything has to go, so where will you put them?

    Cheers!

You are turning your CBF into a serious touring machine!  :028:
    (I am turning mine into a hooligan's bike :018:)

:031: as long as we enjoy ourselves...
As I mentioned during my introduction and this feeling hasn't faded at all, this bike is the perfect mix for me: comfortable, fun to ride, easy to work on (up to my limited capabilities). And it's a Honda, so reliable and not too expensive. How many people can say the same about their ride?
I'm so happy to NOT have started with this model because my small experience with other bikes led me to knowing exactly why I like this one so much  :018:

    Art summarised it even better:
"The CBF 1000 is an excellent choice for a Sports Tourer that ticks many boxes in its class. If you're allowed spanners a big plus for me is the ease in which it can be serviced and maintained at home"
