    Hi all
Just got my forks and shock back after a service at Maxton, which is a considerable logistical undertaking from ireland, customs paperwork etc. When it came back customs wanted 500 euro based on the value declared by Maxton, i still had the original invoice from 2016 when i bought the kit and convinced them it wasn't new stuff therefore no VAT payable, took a week but there you go.
When i came to put it back together, as i had done the head bearings while it was in bits, the spindle wouldnt fit through the forks... peering inside the forks i could see an allen bolt head proud of the spindle hole, worse still it woudlnt turn in any further. Cut a long story short and after a day of email exchanges, it transpires the bolt heads are different and world famous Maxton had put the bolts in the wrong legs.....
Swapped over and all good now and just waiting for the new free crush washers in the christmas post.
    Leave it to the experts.......

Its the same throughout the motor vehicle industry, every job is subject to time constraints and nothing seems to get signed off by quality control anymore.
