G'day all,
I ride a 2008 CBF1000 and I love it. I have owned it since 2013. My wife said "it looks like a grasshopper" when she saw a photo of the bike before I bought it. So, grasshopper it is.
Grasshopper has just a shade over 254,000 kms on the clock and going strong.
It is such a great bike and I hope to keep riding it for many more years.

That's approaching intergalactic mileage

Thanks for the welcome.
I can say that I have spent quite a while in the saddle. We have plenty of fun riding in Oz and it is easy clock up the miles.
The one big problem here is parts availability. Unless it is something used on multiple bike models parts are getting as rare as rocking horse droppings.

After reading the Mark or Mark 2 post under the general discussion thread I have updated my bike details to the appropriate model descriptor. CBF1000A8. Cheers
