Passenger grab handles

Evening all. I’ve taken the rear rack off of my 2007 and my intention is to fit the grab handles, as these were removed when the rack was originally fitted. The rack has welded on grab handles hence the originals were removed. The rack was fitted before I got the bike. I think there must be something that goes between the handles and the frame, as a sandwich, because it leaves a not very nice Honda finish, without it. It’s just wrong. Does anyone have a photo of what’s missing? I can’t see anything on the parts list that’s missing, unless these handles are the wrong ones. They look identical to the ones offered for this year of CBF1000 on t’internet auction sites though. Confused.com

There’s a good reason why they don’t fit. They are for the mk2!!!! ! I just assumed that they were off this bike, because they came with it. Oh well, anyone looking for a set of pillion grab handles
