Got back from a nice long ride yesterday and noticed that my right muffler is much hotter than the left, but the bike seems to be running OK?
    Any ideas?

Causes could be many things including a blocked exhaust, a PGM-FI fault or something mechanical such as valve clearances, worn comshaft, worn valve train components etc. What you're looking for is something that would cause one or two cylinders to run lean.

i have noticed on mine that i always get vapour out of the rh pipe when cold (has done for years) but i found this morning when i started mine after a couple of months off (i was doing valve clearances n repainting rad) while i left it idling the gas out of the left pipe was cold, even though there was plenty of pressure behind it. It seems odd because both pipes come from 1 collector box. Runs ok so i dont really care but its a teaser

Congrats Spanners, you now own the first hydrogen-powered bike (way before Kawasaki!)

mine has a running issue (wont idle after abt half hour riding) seems to be very rich, no dtcs stored.
Came back from a ride with bike running like crap and found LH can cold and very little gas output (venom cans).
As i still have the originals and the original headers (changed them years ago when a collector output pipe cracked, since had it welded) i fitted them back on the bike and am now getting even gas flow and heat. Still getting poor idle after half hour, i think possibly cat in headers blocking due to rich mixture, just got to fix that bit now

     :114: Yikes!
So a clogged exhaust can be a thing with our bikes...  Makes sense then, that indeed your muffler would heat up if the air flow meets a lot of obstruction on its way out.
Good luck with cleaning that up - I don't even know if that's possible. But if you venture on that path, I'll be interested in pictures for sure!
    Have a nice day
