    Hello all
Has anyone installed a quick shifter yet? I'm interested if this is possible

So, for the ignorant amongst us who have never used one (asking for a friend, obviously), can someone tell what a quick shifter does? (I know it's to do with gear changes, but nothing beyond that).

It's a switch with a mechanical connection to the gear lever and an electrical connection to the ECM, it cuts the engine RPM by cutting the ignition. The idea is you don't need the clutch or to throttle off to change gear. There are downsides in terms of premature wear and tear, if you're not on a track you don't really need one.
