    It turned out to be nothing more than two years of condensation build up. I’ve just been up to Skye and around the Highlands for four days and the bike ran perfectly. It never missed a beat and started every time without issue. The Pirelli tyres I fitted also were great. No sketchy moments despite some less than great road surfaces and a bit of leaning going on!

    I guess great minds think alike as it was also my first thought as I initially posted. Just nice that it’s sorted now.

    If I keep the bike I might go for the big strip down over the coming winter and have the exhausts off and the swing arm out for painting. I could do the valves as well while I’m at it and change the radiator over too. That’ll bring it right back up to good condition again.
