Blank key hiss for Honda CBF1000

Good morning,

I brought my CBF 1000 FA motorbike to Canada from Europe. Key is about to break. I am going to try to program a new key as per many videos on internet but I need to know exactly the uncut spear key I need to buy with the proper chip in it. So the questions are:

1. Where to buy the key with the proper chip? Does anyone knows what’s the chip model inside? Does anyone knows the Honda spare parts code for the key?

2. Does anyone knows where to buy the wiring assembly that is connected to the battery and the crank data socket for programming the key?

Any clue would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced

Hi mate, I'm going thru a similar experience myself here in Australia. After much internet surfing the question & calling local locksmiths for quotes I've found that my Honda dealer was by far the cheapest & easiest option. All up for new Honda key, cutting & coding the transponder to the ECU is $124 AUD

I think it will be worth a call to your local Honda stealer

That was my first choice but here in Canada the dealers say that the hiss system was not on the Canadians bikes so they cannot help. They dont really know how to do it.

You want a blank transponder key similar to this, get it cut by your local key cutter, then follow your choice of the many YouTube videos on the subject
