Does anyone know how to separate the two halves of the black pilot box connector behind the headlight? I am putting in a new pilot box and the connector seems like it’s glued together.

Some of these plastic connectors can become difficult to separate with age. Depress the tab and using a pair of suitable pliers gentle ease the two sides apart over time they're mostly a little more than finger tight.
