    Greetings All,

Been a year with my 2008 A8, full luggage and has been great fun.
Not too wide to filter  :164:

Stator went, repaired myself, 100 plus oil and filter.
This is one of the easiest jobs to do yourself, just remember the liquid gasket and torque wrench :)

Thanks to all the advice here, it has helped.

    Regards
    Pyro

    Happy days

Easy job it is too, I've a 7 year old granddaughter that could replace the stator kerbside using nothing more than a small tube of RTV and the onboard tool kit. Never understood all the stator hype surrounding the SC58
