Hi Folks, looks like a really interesting forum, looking forward to reading through it. Ive jut bought a mk1 cbf1000 at8 2008 and havent had a change to take it out yet. Recently back into motorcycling hobby after many years and also ride a Honda 650 Deauville

What you have there is a 'SC58 CBF1000 A-8'

I did the same as you, moving from a Deauville to a CBF1000. You'll find it less top heavy and of course it is a step up in performance! My CBF1000 was the best bike I've had for an allrounder - I kept it for 7 years, but eventually it got a little too heavy for me.
