Hagon Suspension?

Hagon suspension is becoming more of a consideration.
I've tweaked my stock rear shock by trying it on the different settings and I'm still not really happy. The problem is I've had some really comfortable bikes previously with the 1200RT and the cb1300 particularly plush. I've had some longer rides since the end of lockdown, on the biffer, and find it either too joggly hard or too wallowy soft, depending on where I set it.
If I'm to use this bike on my three week, 200 miles a day trip to Spain next year then I have some concern.
A lot of people have mentioned a massive difference when a Hagon rear shock and front springs have been fitted but do they really make that much difference?
Is the bike totally transformed because, sadly, I've started thinking of other bikes and once I do that I usually act upon it.
Any thoughts on this Hagon system will be much appreciated.

I was lucky to get a reconditioned 'exotic'' rear suspension unit (I can't at the moment what it was - old age!) but my local bike garage that did the work, told me the front suspension was also shot and recommended a Hagon replacement (He is a keen race rider). It was (from memory) around £100 and transformed my bike. I hadn't realised just how bad it had got and found it quite novel hat I could go round corners!

Hagon suspension is good but if you get the rear shock it cannot
be adjusted in situ and has to be removed to adjust it unless you buy the
hydraulic ride height adjuster. £150 i think on top of the shock price.

I'm going to purchase the Hagon system. I don't mind the extra £150. It'll be cheaper than changing the bike.

Hi I have fitted a Hagon rear shock with the remote adjuster,well worth it.Rang them and told them what I wanted and it does the job.I needed the remote because I go from solo to with pillion and then pillion and luggage.

Did they put a spring on suitable for your own weight needs or a std one? How do you find it compared to std,?

Hi I just gave them all the info ,My weight, pillion weight and loaded luggage weight .As I fitted it more or less as soon as I bought the bike and it's been 4 years now ,I do not remember what the standard spring was like ,but Hagon shock does what I want it to do.Regards
