    Hi,

Does anyone know if rear shock absorber from SC64 will fit to SC58?

It's 2cm longer but all bolts size is the same.

The rear shock in my mk1 (sc58, 2006-2009) CBF1000 is damaged so I need to replace it.
I've got a used one but in a quite good condition OEM shock from sc64 (mk2, 2010-2017) and I wonder if will it fit as a replacement  :084:.

Since you have it to hand and if you're allowed spanners why not try it and see its a fairly quick and easy job. I think you'll find the extra 20 mm will raise the rear end altering the front to rear balance/loading, who knows what that'll do to the handling if anything. Don't forget to report back here on the good, the bad and the ugly of it.
