MK2 Screen Adjustment
on: 29 March, 2021, 08:52:34 AM
Hi All got my new to me Mk2 yesterday and screen is on lowest setting - I have read the manual and followed the instructions but am almost lifting the bike off the ground and it is still not shifting - any suggestions as to how to get to the mechanism to lube it ?

Thanks

Take off the 2 rubber covers to reveal the 4 screws holding the screen on. You can then access the arms that slide up and down manually. Mine were a bit tight and incidentally, I found the lower setting best but l am a shortarse. I also had tap washers on the top bolts to hold the top of the screen out which diverted the wind away from my face. Some have done better putting them on the bottom bolts and some on all four. There is a bit of trial and error involved to find the best spot for yourself. Good luck.
