mk2 running costs / advice
on: 26 March, 2021, 04:36:50 PM
Hi
Currently looking at a mk2 2012 CBF1000 , use bike daily for 50 mile round trip commute , 2/3 motorway 1/3 country roads no town traffic
Just wondering what do I need to check any known issues? , (I'm aware of the mk1 stator issue but believe mk2 ok?)
Was hoping the CBF1000 would do 200 miles on a tank  not going crazy 70-80 mph on motorway ??
Currently run a nc750 which gets great mileage but looses out on too much fun wise on weekend rides

thanks Steve

Hi my Mk2 gets 230 to the tank at those speeds but I'm usually two up and luggage and I have fitted a 17t front sprocket. Out on my own just tootling about I got 240 with 1 ltr left. Depends on load and right wrist.Regards
