Noob issues, bear with me.
on: 15 March, 2021, 12:37:27 PM
Hi, I'm just trying to introduce myself. Not sure if this is going to post to the right place.
Only recently became aware of this model, totally slipped under my radar. It sounded perfect so I've just bought an '06. No chance to proper test it yet, but so far it's a hoot. The acceleration is a total buzz!

The CBF 1000 is an excellent choice for a Sports Tourer that ticks many boxes in its class. A big plus for me is the ease in which it can be serviced and maintained at home, by the home mechanic, without the need of any special tools or diagnostic equipment. If you haven't already you can download the Honda Workshop and Owners Manuals here.

Thanks for the welcome, Admin and Art.
I'm still working out how to use the site.
It's good to know the bike is easy to work on, I'd have thought a 'Blade engine *would* be rocket science.
I'll add the manuals to my Haynes, thanks.
I think Mr Honda has finally made my perfect bike here.

I didn't know much about it either until a couple of days ago, and know I own one as well!

Extremely fun bike to own. I especially love how smoothly and calmly you can drive it, besides it being extremely capable to go fast as well!

Congrats on your purchase, hope you get to ride more soon!  :306:

Cheers and ride safe!  :028:

Thanks TheBearBiffe, I love it so far. I had a Fireblade but it was too much. This is the perfect use for such a brilliant engine. Instant power for overtakes, without most of the power being wasted at twice the speed limit and beyond. I can't wait for some distance rides.
Enjoy your new bike.
