Home made Fork Seal Tool
on: 12 March, 2021, 11:14:21 PM
Hi,
Thought I would share this.
I recently replaced the fork seals on my CBF1000A6.
I made my own seal and bush installation tool for from a PVC 1 1/2" pipe joint from B&Q - total cost 2.30.

1. Cut off the threaded section and trim to flange to the dia. of the seal.
2. The opposite end is already the right dia. to install the bush.

This little baby installed the bush and the seal in minutes with no hassle and no damage at all to the bush, seal or fork.

Tried to attach some photos - not sure it that worked!
