Recently purchased this 2015 mark 2 after 15 years away from owning a bike. My last bike was a VFR 750 so looking forward to getting back on two wheels.

Hi Moodmadness.
Welcome to the party.
You've made a great choice !
I switched from a VFR800 to a 2014 Mk2 and am delighted.
VFR is a great bike but I was looking for a more upright position.
The bike is plenty fast enough, easy to work on, and this site has some tremendous contributors - the wealth / depth of knowledge is staggering.
And no question is too stupid ....
Just need to get out on the thing

Thanks for the welcome messages. Have spent a few months lurking, researching on here - excellent forum.
Just need to get my head around the dark arts of choosing an aftermarket screen and handguards for the mark 2!

Don't expect aftermarket parts to described as being suitable for a MKII, the only place that term is used is here. What you have there is a SC64.

I went for the Palmer adapter kit and accessory bar using the original screen. Still checking out the hand guards.
