Fuel tank issue.

Hello,

Need some advice...

Had to take the fuel tank off to get to the fuel pump. Everytime I attempt to put it back on its leaking fuel - I have tried a new packing base but still leaking. Any ideas of whats causing this / what I'm doing wrong.

Put some fuel in the tank before you re-fit it to properly see where its leaking.

If you have removed pump, did you tighten in a cross cross pattern? The torque spec for those isn't much either so don't over-tighten. I had my fuel pump out a few times last year and I haven't had any issues.
