Just a quickie to wish you all well and let you know I'm still around, albeit totally stir crazy (like a lot of you, I'm guessing).
Glad to see some old familiar names are still posting here.
I can only apologise for my absence, but for me, it's always been about the visuals. So without a photo section here, I've tended to spend more time on FB, but that's so unstructured and I find I need to drop back here from time to time just to retain some sanity (I also think members here show far better manners than on many FB pages I've visited).
I've still got the CBF1000F I bought back in 2011 and although it's currently collecting dust in the garage, it's served me faithfully over the years as a tourer and taken me around a lot of Europe, to many terrific places I would never have seen if I hadn't decided to buy it (although I'm not sure I'll get back across the water anytime soon unfortunately).
My last run in 2019 was down through France to the Picos, across the Pyrenees and then up again through France to the Cherbourg ferry and home via Carcassonne. Stunning scenery, great weather and a freedom you can only realise on a bike.
Anyway, enough reminiscing from me.
