Ciao to all CBF1000 forum members!!
I bought a beautiful used CBF 1000 ST Y09 last year in May, just comin' out from the 1st COVID-19 wave in Italy.
It was over 10 years I was dreaming about it and I thought 'well, we only live once, it's time!'

I choose such model as the best HONDA option in my opinion for touring with my girlfriend (I fitted a SHAD SH58X along with HONDA ST original side bags and just bought an additional windshield to run smoother over 110 kmh).
Beside that, I also own a Lambretta SX 200, which was bought by my grandfather in 1967 and I carefully restored in the past few years (also upgrading it a little bit to compete with Vespas 200cc ..... ;) :) ).
I have always been a HONDA fan, I alm also the proud owner of a HONDA ACCORD TOURER 09 i-VTEC 2.0 close to 300k kms and planning to buy exactly the same model with 2.4 engine, after another 100k kms ....).
I came to CBF1000 forum while investigating into the well-known rectifier (/stator) issue on CBFs, being close to 34k kms, I am still in doubt, wheter to buy/replace the rectifier (would not change the stator) or install a voltage meter to monitor the situation before buying it ... but I do not want to go off-topic, this message was intended to introduce myseld to the forum: my congratulations to the staff behind the forum, very well conceived, and thanks to all the members sharing their experiences and know-how about HONDAs CBF 1000 !
Keep all healthy and never give up !!
Ciao from Italy,
Luciano
