Oak Trees
« on: 06 November, 2020, 06:13:37 PM »
Oak Trees, on bends!   :087: I've travelled down this road in Staffs many times, and very aware of this particular bend. I know there's been a few nasty accidents over the years, although I'd never really saw it as being particularly bad, apart from leaves and a few twigs etc. But the other day I discovered the big tree was an Oak!  :005: Thankfully I saw the mass of acorns all over the road early enough to slow down, as it could've been really tricky! I really don't like the idea of riding on what would have been very like marbles!   :151:

Noted! Then there are horse chestnuts and hazel nuts. Makes riding even more interesting in the Autumn.
