Hi all been a mechanic and motorcylce rider since i`ve been 14  now 57   ridden all sorts from a fizzy to a hyabusa , i find it difficult to understand the stator issue ?? I mean IT!S  Honda  Quality hmmm really ! The biffa engine is a derestriced fireblade lump ffs they`ve taken 40+bhp out of the thing  and you don`t hear of the fireblade toasting the stators , So WTF

The stators for the fireblade & biffer are both different and not interchangeable. Though the biffer may well be a 'detuned' blade, they are two very different beasts.

If you think fireblades weren't troubled by stator issues, then think again. If you pop down to blade forums you'll find plenty tales of woe.

Fairly sure the only difference between the SC58 and SC57 stators is the length of the cables.
