What a difference a lick of paint makes
« on: 02 November, 2020, 10:14:17 AM »
Repainted my front fork legs whilst doing a full overhaul.
First used a power rotary wire brush to clean up corrosion
Grey undercoat then a top coat of stainless steel paint I had knocking about the garage.

Well done, looking sharp. I need to do mine. I brush painted the swinging arm, centre stand, side stand and some other bits with Hammerite smooth gloss black in March. Need to get a round tuit for the front forks and the front cowling stays. Should have done them when I did the radiator and the fan motor mounting plate Honda affectionately refer to as a bra!
