Hello from Victoria, BC, Canada
« on: 26 August, 2020, 05:23:12 PM »
Hello all,

I'm new here today as I'm buying a 2011 with abs in a matter of hours. Fell in love with it on the test ride a couple days ago. I moved here from Halifax last summer and have been without a bike for 12 months. My last bike was a Honda CB919 Hornet. Looking to soak info like a sponge about my new ride.

Hi Sc0rch
Welcome. You've bought a great bike. I'm now on my second after a four year gap.
The biffer, for me, is a very good fit. It's compact, refined, frugal and comfortable. With the trend for adventure bikes these days there aren't many decent sports tourers left.
I was prepared to pay a lot more for a nearly new Ninja z1000sx but didn't get on with the seat comfort and higher seat height..
With all the luggage it will be perfect for my Portugal trip next year.
Enjoy .
Stay between the hedges!

Welcome, hope you enjoy your bike. Got my 09, about 18months ago. So easy to ride, power when you need it. Enjoy.
