I got done a few hours ago. New fan on, old fan still works after I tested on the battery.

I changed the coolant so itís fresh and it was Honda coolant so I canít imagine Iíll have any issues

I do seemingly have an issue though. The fan is definitely pulling air, which is good. But when it comes on, it doesnít seem to cool the radiator enough, because it didnít go back off.

Now what? 🤦🏼‍♂️

 :157: When I started my apprenticeship half a century ago the first words of wisdom our tutor imparted on the class was what he called The Golden Rules of motor vehicle diagnostics

1) Listen to the owners complaint
2) Confirm the symptoms
3) Prove the fault

Exactly how did you originally diagnose that "The fan is definitely faulty"?

I trusted my mechanic who had told me heíd tested it and the motor was dead.

Put that same question to the person who told you they'd tested it and the motor was dead but please don't refer to them as trusted or as a mechanic, clearly they are neither.
