Iíve owned and sold 2 CBFís now and still get allowed in. Still a great bike but injury and age have caught up with me and Iíve defected to something lighter in the form of a new Tracer 700. My last new bike me thinks

It's a few years since I changed bikes. I'm still allowed to post even with a BMW :192:

So Thruppy & Moayling - how does the Nc & the Tracer stack up against the Biffer?

At 68, I appreciate the weight can be a bit daunting - the bike that is !!  But its such a great do-it-all bike (and comfier than the VFR).

I can imagine I'll need to look for a lighter bike at some stage.

Anyway - I'm hoping to go to my son's new house in Ramsey on the Biffer as soon as lockdown allows.

I'm in Jockland so will be 1 week after the rest of the world !!

Full luggage, Metzeler Z8s (lots of tread left but squared off after 5k miles).

Well after 30000 mls on the biffer i can't fault it.
I did want to go a bit lighter and i only prob ever used 70 percent of the power.
After a long time looking at other bikes the nc was narrowed down,it had to be a honda, they've never let me down.
After my 1hr test ride on the nc the first few minutes i was unsure but once i got used to it i loved it.
Corners without input, feels planted, rugged roads feel like smooth tarmac, great high riding position and plenty of lowdown torque.
You really want to have a test ride it might surprise you.

Canít tell you much about the Tracer as l donít pick it up until the 26 th. l doubt it will be as smooth as the Biffer but at 196kg wet itís a lot lighter. Plenty of time for you, Iím 75 but still enjoy riding

You may get sent to Coventry talking like that though.
Ought to just say, in a humbled tone, your sparkling new bike is 'okay'.  :038:
