weight of cbf 1000 gt model
« on: 17 May, 2020, 09:04:52 PM »
hi there, due to health issues i'll have to give up the big bike . thinking of down sizing to a cbf 600. less weight ,lower seat. Really upset about this not least because in 50 odd years biking its the first bike thats perfect for me.
Can get the weight for the 600 and for the standard cbf thou but not the GT version. Just wondering if i take off all the touring kit what difference will it make.
any body out there know the answer.

Well the rack/carriers weigh little (a good pie I reckon) so leave those on and whip the luggage off - easy enough.

Then ride it/move it and see if that difference is enough for you.  TBH if we said the luggage (which do you have on?) weighs xx Ib (or kg if inclined) would you know if that made or broke the deal.
Only do it right - no bodging please.   Keeper of the failed stator list.   John.
