Goodmorning Everybody! New member here....
« on: 12 May, 2020, 09:24:11 AM »
So, after having driven more sporty bikes (Triumph Sprint RS, Kawasaki GPZ1000RX), I finally found a bike which welcomed me, making me feel at home from the first moment.

I've only recently bought my CBF1000A (2006), but I've enjoyed every kilometer I've driven on it! What a delight to use.

I Live in NL, Rotterdam area, but I hope ride a lot in and around Luxemburg. I love the roads/area there.

Have fun motoring!

The SC58 CBF1000A is an excellent choice, ticking many boxes in the Sports Tourer class. A big plus for me is the ease in which it can be serviced and maintained by the home mechanic without the need of any special tools or diagnostic equipment. If you haven't already you can download the SC58 2006 to 2010 (MKI they call it around here) workshop manual, the download links are

complete manual from here

or in 24 Sections from here.

Have a read through "Section 4 MAINTENANCE" and you'll see just how easy it is for the home mechanic to service and maintain.

Happy days ahead

You will find a massive "Web" of contacts and information here  :015:.
Enjoy the bike and the riding especially when these strange times improve.
Best regards,
Paul
