Back from first service today. Talked about the steering prob to the guy on service desk. Waited for hour and a half for service. Said to guy on service desk 'are bars fixed then?'. He looked at me blankly and gave me service sheets. Said on the sheet 'Steering Alignment Corrected' (you don't get to talk to the mechanics at this dealers apparently!). So I think, OK must be fixed. Get on the M-way on way back to work, and I think it is improved, but bars still slightly tilted to right.
I have to go back in a few weeks to get hugger and grips fitted (cos they're still not in), so I will pursue it then. I can't afford the time off work to keep going back to the dealers.
At this point I wanted the bars to be perfect, then I would have been happy, really getting to enjoy the bike. As it is, I wish I had kept my Bandit. :151:
