Rad repair
« on: 14 April, 2020, 10:49:29 PM »
Just like to report on excellent service from AdRad (https://www.adrad.co.uk)

Fan mounting bracket got a bit bent allowing the fan to gouge an arc across the back of the radiator. Leaked a lot...
Sent on Monday (£13 registered post so would have arrived Wednesday)
Back with me Friday morning, repaired, repainted £55 all in.

Images attached.

A good price too compared to Mr Honda wanting £500  :005:

Just checked some other prices on that fiche £460 for a fan motor and then you have to fork out another £62 hard earned for the fan. Cheap as chips universal 9" 12v fans start at well under £20 on ebay if you need one. You'll need to splice the plug wiring off the old fan to hook it up, the old fan wiring is a little too short anyway as you've probably discovered.

This should fit 9" 12v Universal Fan if you need one, note it is installed onto the radiator by means of the supplied cable ties.

Happy Days
