Panniers for sale
« on: 11 February, 2020, 12:15:20 PM »
I have 2 Honda Panniers for sale.
A few scratches, but reasonable condition.
I also have the Rails that they fit on, they could do with a coat of paint.
3 keys.
Came off a Mk1 bike.
50.00.

Collection only.
PM me your email address if you want pics, can't seem to get them to load on this site.

They will fit if you have the genuine Honda rails.
They are the Honda Panniers, I have the rails, if you need them ( need a coat of paint)
Also they will not fit if you have a Givi Top Box and rails, because the Givi rails obstruct fitting.

Mike.

Can confirm you'll not be disappointed in these, I saw them a couple of weeks ago. Sadly the Honda panniers were not compatible with my Givi V33 rails and the Honda rails were not compatible with my Givi top box rack.

That's not OEM, sadly. See picture below for OEM setup:

The rails for the OEM panniers connect to the bolt next to the writing "CBF1000" in your picture, then work their way towards the rear of the bike and then mount at the same point as the OEM exhausts.

Depends, weigh up the cost.

50 for panniers and rails here (plus some sanding down with scotch brite, paint and then ACF-50).

110 for the topbox, and then all you've got to do is find the top box rack and mounting plate.

Plus you could sell your current set up (shipped via DPD etc -- who generally accept large parcels) on eBay to recoup some money. Advertise it for a rate more than what you'd be happy to accept and put a "best offer" option on it to see who bites.

You may be in luck, as there look to be one left for sale here (and it has the small metal plate that goes on top of the topbox rack but underneath the plate that comes with the top-box above [which is generally hard to get hold of]). Send the seller a question about it first, just in case it doesn't (although since pictured I don't understand why it wouldn't).
