Varta TTZ19S-BS, 12v, 8.6Ah (AGM) On the CBF when I got it in Nov 2014, exactly how old it is I don't know I'll check for a date stamp next time its out. Only ever had to put it on charge the one time when I left the SatNav switched on in the 12v accessory socket. Now re-wired by means of an accessory harness with a switched changeover relay.

I replaced my OEM with another Yuasa.
7 years out of a battery seemed okay to me and at least when the Yuasa finally began to die, I had a bit of time to sort its replacement.

Mike - I would be interested to know how long your Yuasa was failing before it failed if that makes sense. My original Yuasa will be 10 years old later this year and is probably on borrowed time. Starts the bike as if it is new at the moment. Just don't want to be in the middle of Spain sometime and have to accept whatever the local shop has for sale although reluctant to replace what appears to be a good battery now.
