MK1 CBF1000 - Various Parts
« on: 30 October, 2019, 05:04:55 PM »
Have more than what's below, respond with question and I'll have a look.

Some other bits if anyone's interested for the same bike (all prices negotiable):

  • Rear brake M/C
  • Injector rail
  • Battery
  • Topbox Givi Rack
  • Air filter (used)
  • OEM Honda Workshop Manual (paperback)

Hi,

It's not the top-box itself but instead a rack that came with my bike when I purchased it. I couldn't find a top-box that fitted that plate so removed the arms as well (as they seemed equally as old) and replaced it with a more up to date set-up.

See the link in my original post for all current items for the CBF1000.

thanks.

Don't suppose you have a radiator. Hiding in amongst your spares?
Below is a list of reasons why you should not ride your motorbike....................

I don't, sadly. Most of the things I sell are either removed by myself on bikes I own or purchased in job lots and broken down. I'd love the space to do more.

In the time I've been looking for CBF1000 spares I've only ever seen one genuine second hand unit, and that went in a flash (sold by someone else, that is).

The options for radiator replacements seem to be cheap chinese £100-150 gambles, or the mid-range replacements for a few hundred (omitting the rather expensive O.E.M cost).

Here are a few links that may help you (I can't guarantee the quality of any of these parts):

eBay chinese one

Someone did post a couple of links on here recently regards radiator repairs, but I only saved one of the companies name... never used and no idea of price but may be of use:

Hi,

It was one of these, but I took it down after deciding to keep it -- and yes that manual is written in German.

In honesty I'd just download the scanned PDF version in English that you can get easily and buy a Haynes for physical reference.

PDF Download (06-10 MK1):
