Hi Guys

New member as today picked up my 2011 CBF1000FA in red. Condition is amazing and a testament to the previous owners. Had a wonderful ride back on sunny A roads and through towns/villages and I cannot say how pleased I am with the bike. OK as a bit of a 6 foot biffa myself I  will have to get a new Hagon rear shock for 2 up touring, but thats about it. Smooth, quiet, super comfy, amply fast enough for todays roads and a steady 70 ish shows no problems with wind blast, vibes or buffeting.

I have made it to just over 60 with a long history of road racing, nurburgring, trackdays and have crossed the Sahara, so a bit of offroad too. My wife and I have had far too many bikes over my 45 years of riding, but the CBF feels exactly the right bike for me now.

Other bikes at the moment are a GSX S1000FA and a cb300r Neo.

Cheers
Wastey

Welcome. Milton Keynes has something for everyone from concrete cows (are they still there?) to luncheon at the Super Sausage. I'm always torn between the 12 inch Cumberland sausage hot dog and the sausage, mash, peas and onion gravy. Well its not called the Super Sausage for nothing.

Happy Days

Thanks for the welcome's. Yes the concrete cows are .... somewhere. Copies are where they lived until they were 'vandalized' ( all superbly painted black with white skeletons one hallowene ). Best thing about MK is 200 miles or so of dedicated cycle/walking paths that covers the whole original city and we can get to from our village outside, thats about it mind.

Weirdly never been in the super sausage that much, driven/ridden past it a million times. Probably as too close to stop that early.

Cheers
