Engine light with 34 code - servo problem? Noise question
« on: 22 September, 2019, 02:36:07 AM »
Looks like the exhaust servo has either frozen or burnt out, and the engine light is delivering a 34 code. Complete with high gas consumption, I noticed the engine wasn't sounding right on the last ride, and today the light comes on. The first thing of course is to consult the CBF1000 forum! and there is the thread on replacing the servo, or removing it altogether.https://www.cbf1000.com/index.php/topic,18247.0.html

Just wondering what the impact on the low speed noise is when the servo is disconnected. Also, if it's just seized and I free it up, is there something to be done to keep it in good shape?

thanks

Paul from Montreal
